Its symptoms are visible on shoulder blades, under the breasts, buttocks, around the waist, between the fingers, near the elbow, on the knees, soles of the feet, around the genital area and in armpits.A few common symptoms include intense pain, rashes, redness around the infected area and itching. A severe condition can lead to swelling and blisters as well.An immediate medical attention is required in case a person gets infected with this ailment. Besides, home remedies too are quite effective in treating this condition. Just try a few such remedies we have listed down for you to cure this disorder.
  1. Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil consists of a compound called terpinen-4-ol, which kills the parasite that leads to scabies. Besides, the presence of anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, disinfectant, anti-parasitic, anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties in it also helps in curing this problem.All you need to do is take one tablespoon each of tea tree oil and olive oil and mix them together. Then dip a cotton ball in this solution and apply on the infected skin. Follow this remedy two times in a day for at least three weeks. This remedy will surely help in decreasing swelling and pain.Alternately, pour 10 to 12 drops of tea tree essential oil in your lukewarm bath water. Now take a bath with this water daily for at least a month.

Neem oil is another great remedy for curing scabies. This is because it possesses anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties, which ensure complete elimination of bacteria and fungus in the skin. Mix well to get a paste-like consistency. Dab some of it on the infected area and then allow it to dry. Wash off the skin after about an hour. Follow this remedy daily for quick healing.
