Mix well till the mixture becomes smooth and flowy. Now add three drops of this mixture in the infected eye with the help of an eyedropper. Repeat it a couple of times in a day. You can use this remedy as a warm compress too. However, if this infection has other symptoms like pain, sensitivity to light and disturbed vision, do consult a doctor immediately.
A cold compress or warm compress is helpful in easing various symptoms of pink eye, such as itching and swelling. It is especially helpful in case it is caused by an allergic reaction. Both types of compresses do not let the water get discharged from your eyes and thus, prevent drying.Talk a clean piece of cloth and soak it in either hot or cold water. Then squeeze out the excess water. Now place this cloth on the affected eye for about 10 minutes. Follow this remedy four times in a day. Make sure that you not use the same cloth for the other eye.
