 The outer layer of hair contains natural oil which keeps it moist and shiny. When this layer gets damaged, your hair will appear dull, rough and unhealthy. Some other factors that contribute to dull hair are;

Here Are Some Home Remedies For Long And Shinny Hair;

  • Apple Cider Vinegar- Apple cider vinegar works as a natural hair conditioner and make your hair soft, shiny, wavy and moisturized. It also helps to remove dirt and dandruff that makes your hair look lifeless. In addition, it treats itchy scalp and frizzy hair.


  • Mix apple cider vinegar and water in equal quantity.
  • After shampooing, massage your hair with this mixture.
  • Let it sit for a few minutes and rinse it with cold water. Use these remedy once a week.



  • Olive oil & Eggs- Egg one of the best ingredients to nourish your hair and make them shinier in few minutes... egg repairs dull and damaged hair by moisturizing them. Eggs also help to make your hair strong and thick.


  • Mix one egg white and 1 tablespoon each of olive oil and honey until you get a smooth paste.
  • Apply this paste on your hair and scalp.
  • Cover your head with a shower cap for about 30 minutes.
  • use natural mild shampoo and cool water to wash your hair



  •  Coconut Oil- Organic coconut oil is one of the best options to get shinny hair. It contains moisturizing components which nourishes your hair naturally.  It deals with dry and damaged hair and makes them healthy and shinny.


  • Apply warm coconut oil on your hair, from the root to the ends.
  • Massage for a few minutes and then wrap your hair in a shower cap or towel for at least 30 minutes.
  • Rinse your hair with water, then shampoo and condition them.
  • Olive oil or almond oil can also be used following the same process.



  • Avocado- Whi le watching commercials on TV every woman admires those models having lustrous hair, so even you can have that kind of hair, if you follow my simple tip to use avocado. Deeply rich with nutrients avocado moisturize and nourish your hair right from the roots. It is extremely good for dry and damaged hair. 


  • Mix two tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil with one mashed ripe avocado.
  • Apply this mixture from the roots to the ends.
  • Cover with a shower cap for 30-35 minutes.
  • Rinse and shampoo your hair as usual.
