Smooth silky hair is a sign of beautiful healthy hair that is properly nourished and taken care of. However, in today’s work with increasing amounts of pollution and stress, hair is often left untouched and untreated, leaving it to look dirty, ragged and rough. While most people just wash it everyday, they barely have time to condition it and let it absorb the right vitamins needed to grow long and healthily. By using these easy methods, you can prevent it from looking unhealthy and get it to shine through all that pollution and dirt, using all organic ingredients.
The following are some simple ways you can get long and silky hair, using all natural ingredients:
Rinse with cold water:
Rinsing with cold water might scare anyone in the winter, but this handy little trick is worth it if you want shiny hair. The cold temperature closes up the cuticles of your hair and encourages your hair to stay smooth and flat. This trick comes in especially useful right after you condition your hair, as all the added moisture will be locked in and left in the hair as the cuticles close, making sure your hair has all the resources it needs to look beautiful and smooth.
Deep condition with coconut oil:
Coconut Oil is now all over the news, not juts for its nature as a healthy cooking substitute, but for its innumerable uses in the beauty world. People are swearing over coconut oil and chalking the brilliant condition of their hair, skin, face, acne, teeth, legs, you name it! – all up to coconut oil. Apply coconut oil on your scalp and along the strands of your hair at least 2 hours before you go for a shower to get long and silky tresses.
Use an avocado mask:
Your hair is guaranteed to break and look dull if you have dry hair. Give your hair some moisture by applying an all natural homemade mask on it for at least an hour to get back the moisture it needs. Mash together 1 – 2 avocados and add some honey and comb the mixture through your hair with a wide-toothed comb to ensure that every inch of your head has time to soak up as much avocado moisture as possible.
Condition with eggs:
This might seem like a stinky proposition, but the protein in eggs is a sure shot way to get back the healthy shine in your hair. Eggs, especially the egg yolks, are full of long-chained unsaturated omega 3 fatty acids that go great with just a few tablespoons of honey and olive oil. Let this mixture sit in your head for at least an hour and wash it off to get smooth tresses that gleam in the sun.
