Take 2 cups of finely ground blanched almond flour in a blender jar and mix ½ tsp of baking soda and fine sea salt respectively and blend the mixture.

Add 4 tbsp. of organic honey to the jar now along with three eggs,1/4 cup grapeseed oil, 1 tsp pure vanilla extract & 2 tbsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice and blend it into a batter. Pour the batter in the greased doughnut tray and bake it for 10 minutes in an oven preheated to 350 degrees. Let it cool for few minutes.

For the frosting, take into a mixing bowl 2/3 cup of pure vegetable shortening (Vegetable shortening is hydrogenated vegetable fat. It is virtually flavorless and a good substitute for butter in baking of pie pastry, cookies, and cakes), 4 tbsp. of organic raw honey, 4 tbsp. of freshly squeezed lemon juice and 2 tbsp. of finely grated lemon zest. Lemon Zest can be prepared by scraping or cutting from the outer, colorful skin of the lemon. Beat this mixture with a hand beater until smooth and fluffy. Ice the cooled doughnuts for a yummy doughnut treat for kids this New Year.

Yes! Use organic honey to make sauces and dips that go well with crackers and organic cookies or as side-accompaniment with assorted vegetables. Prepare creamy Honey Sesame sauce by whisking together ¾ cup non-fat mayonnaise, ¼ cup rice vinegar, ¼ cup liquid honey and 3 tbsp. toasted sesame seeds with 1-2 tbsp. grated ginger, 1 small minced garlic clove, 1/8 tsp of red pepper flakes and some salt to taste. Keep the preparation in an airtight container and refrigerate.

Combine 4 cups of cranberry juice, 2 cups orange juice and 1 cup lemon juice in a large punch bowl and mix it with the chilled honey mixture. Add a quart of ginger ale, ice cubes and garnish with fruits just before serving.
