8 Yogasana To Treat Infertility

Today’s world is a world of stress. We have work stress, family stress peer pressure, meetings, deadlines and what not. Running a life through all these worries and tensions is really very stressful. This stress has an adverse effect on our body. People suffer from mental, emotional and physical disorders all thanks to stress. Many times stress also affects a person's fertility. While different doctors ask people to go through different treatments to treat their infertility issues, these treatments sometimes also have side effects. If your doctor has diagnosed the reason for your infertility to be stress, then the best way to destress your body is regularly practicing yogasana. Aromatherapy is another great way to destress yourself. Just light up a couple incense sticks, aromatic candles or drop your favorite fragrance of essential oil in your oil diffuser set, grab your yoga mat. Try these yogasana along and you will see the results soon.

  1. Paschimottanasana

Sit straight on a yoga mat with your feet stretched in front of you. Toes pointing up to the sky.

 Inhale and open up your chest and lengthen the spine.

 Exhale and bend forward. Remember you should not bend your knees or backbone.

 Try holding your toes with your fingers.

 Remember to a deep breath.

 

  1. Balasans

From all fours on your mat, bring your toes together and draw you hips down towards your heels.

 Fold forward and rest your head on the mat and your arms on places on either side.

 Relax and count till 10.

 

  1. Janu Sirasana

Sit on the floor with both the legs stretched before you.

 Bend the right knee and bring it the foot close to your left thigh. The sole of your right foot should touch the left inner thigh bring it as close to your groin as possible.

 Keep the left leg straight with toes pointing upwards.

 Inhale and raise your arms above your head parallel to your ears.

 Exhale slowly and bend the body forward.

 Lower your hands and grab your left feet’s toes with both of your hands.

 Touch your left foot’s knee with your forehead.

 Hold and count till 20.

 Resume your original position.

 

  1. Titli Asana

Sit down straight on your yoga mat.

 Open up your legs a bit, bend your legs in the knees, and bring them as close to your body as you can, so that it looks like an open book.

 Bend a little and hold your feet. Press your knees down with your elbows.

 Repeat this multiple times.

 

  1. Viparita Karni Asana

Sit sideways and position yourself few inches away from the wall.

 Exhale and swing your hips 90 degrees to bring legs up to the wall.

 Rest your head and shoulders on the yoga mat and relax your arms besides yourself.

 Close your eyes and relax.

 Keep your legs firm up against the wall and hold the position.

 

  1. Shirshasana

Stand straight and come down in a squat, on your toes.

 Rest the knees on the ground and interlace the fingers of both of your hands placing the palms and forearms on the ground before you.

 Bend forward and place the top of your head on the ground resting on your palms.

 Straighten both your knees slowly and move your toes upwards, pointing them towards the sky.

 You back, neck and head should form a straight line, perpendicular to the floor.

 

  1. Sarvangasana

Lie down flat on your yoga mat facing the ceiling.

 With multiple jerks, lift your legs upwards.

 Rest your hands on your back to support your position.

 Lift your legs upwards, until they become perpendicular to the floor.

 Rest your head and shoulders on the yoga mat and hold the position.

 Count till 10.

 Slowly resume the original position.

 

  1. Shavasana

Lie down straight on the floor, on your back

 Close your eyes

 Breath normal.

 Relax your body and mind. Let all the stress and negativity go.

 Take your time to relax.

 Slowly get up and stand straight.

 Practicing these yogasana will not only relieve your stress and tension and make your body flexible, it will also relax you and treat your infertility. You can also get a nice massage by adding your favorite essential oil to a carrier oil to relax your body and burst your stress.
