  1. Lemon

Lemon possesses anti-inflammatory and anesthetic properties, which are helpful in treating the symptoms of mosquito bites.All you need to do is cut a lemon into two halves. Then rub one half of the affected area. This will provide quick relief from the itching. You can also rub the yellow rind of lemon instead of whole lemon.Besides, applying some lemon juice also reduces the chance of developing a skin infection. Try another concoction by mixing crushed basil leaves and some lemon juice together. Apply this paste on the affected area for quick healing.

  1. Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil is universally known to be an antiseptic and thus, helps in treating wounds that have been infected with bacteria. It also reduces other symptoms like swelling and itching.Just apply some tea tree oil directly on the affected skin using a clean cotton ball. However, do not use this oil in case you have a sensitive skin or suffering from skin irritation. Try other essentials oils such as lavender and cedar.

It might give a burning sensation but will ultimately heal the affected area.
