  1. Exfoliating face scrub

Aloe Vera also has skin exfoliating properties wherein it removes the dead cells and helps the skin to create newer cells. You can make your very own exfoliating scrub at home that can be used every day.

  • Take two tablespoons of Aloe vera and add two tablespoons of organic sugar to it.
  • Blend well and then add one tablespoon of lemon juice to this and mix well.

You can scrub your face and whole body with this face scrub, preferably in the evening or at night.

The lemon juice extract has natural bleaching and exfoliating action that removes dead cells and also helps to reverse sun damage. The sugar makes the mixture work as a scrub. Aloe Vera helps to soften skin and soothes it once the scrubbing has been completed.

  1. Soothing rough skin

Sometimes we get rough skin in patches. It occurs due to many skin conditions such as dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis and also due to age-related changes. Well, the one thing going your way is the fact that aloe vera is an excellent remedy for such dry and rough skin problems.

  • Aloe vera is succulent and its gel is moist, hydrating and has a cooling effect on your skin. When applied, it helps to treat dry skin patches, soften them and hydrate them well.
  • Aloe vera is also an anti-irritant and is used in many skin ointments, gels and face products to prevent chafing of the nose.
  • Make your own skin scrub for rough patches. For this, take two tablespoons of rock salt or sea salt. Add two tablespoons of aloe vera gel to it. Add one tablespoon of natural Coconut Oil to this and one tablespoon of Organic Honey.
  • You can apply this scrub to rough skin and scrub well. Wash after ten minutes and apply some more coconut oil to the skin once dry.

The rock salt has antibacterial and antifungal properties, while it also adds to the exfoliating properties of the scrub, honey acts as a toner. Aloe vera soothes the skin and coconut oil moisturizes it. All this combined together makes it a complete skin care kit.

  • Add two tablespoons of aloe vera gel to two tablespoons of plain milk.
  • Mix well to form a gel and apply it lavishly on affected areas.

To make your own itching control skin cream, take two tablespoons of aloe vera gel and one teaspoon spoon of Peppermint Oil. To this, add one tablespoon of Organic Coconut Oil and mix well to form a smooth paste. Apply this paste on your skin to control itching.

Peppermint oil also controls inflammation and redness of the inflamed skin. Coconut oil moisturizes skin and keeps it hydrated.

The Vitamin B 12 and beta sisterole present in Aloe Vera make it potent in controlling inflammation and reducing pain.
