  1. For acne-prone skin

Has your acne problem resulted in your house arrest? Have you tried all sorts of remedies to treat it but all your efforts have gone in vain?  Well, worry not. Try this egg white mask for a pimple-free skin. All you need is one egg white, a teaspoon of lemon juice and half teaspoon of honey. Mix lemon juice and egg white to form a frothy mixture. Later, pour honey in the concoction. Apply it for 10-15 minutes till the mask dries up. Rinse off with warm water.

This mask is apt for all skin types as it provides the right kind of nourishment and keeps the sensitive skin hydrated. Honey and egg white present in the mask help in reducing the size of large pores, which are a breeding place for acne-causing bacteria.

  1. For removing dead skin cells

Oatmeal works as a great exfoliating agent for dull skin. And, when mixed with egg white, it gives an extra glow to the face. This mask works on fine lines and takes away age from your face.

For this, you need one egg white and a spoon of oatmeal and honey each. Beat the egg white until foamy.  Add honey and oatmeal to it and mix well. Apply the mixture on your face and neck area and let it stay for 20 minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water.

Since honey acts as an antiseptic, this mask works well on skin irritations. Also, honey works as a catalyst in production of new tissue cells. So, besides exfoliating, this mask ensures a fresh face all the time.

Another mask in this category is egg white mixed with yoghurt and cucumber. We have already discussed how egg white contributes in making your skin glow, let us take a look at other ingredients now.

From fighting acne and treating sunburns to reducing pigmentation, yoghurt has several healing properties. The lactic acid present in it exfoliates the skin and acts on wrinkles by tightening the skin pores.

However, cucumbers act as cooling and smoothening agents and therefore, relax the skin. They also lighten dark circles, prevent breakouts and provide hydration.

Take one egg white, a spoon of honey, organic yoghurt and cucumber juice each. Make a foamy mixture after beating the egg. Then add a little lukewarm honey along with yoghurt to the concoction and mix well. Finally add the cucumber juice to it. Apply the pack for 15 minutes or till it dries up. Wash your face with warm water. Do not forget to apply a good quality moisturiser after this.
