Enjoy A Perfect Side Dish with Baby Spinach Omelette
Spinach is highly nutritious and is packed with a lot of protein. It is quite famous with bodybuilders who take a few servings before they hit the gym for their muscles to perform better. Similarly, Spinach can give us a healthier lifestyle in our regular lives as well. It also has a lot of vitamins and minerals that benefit the overall smooth functioning of our body. Today we will learn how to make a tasty baby spinach omelette than can enjoyed as a whole or as a side dish.
1 cup torn baby spinach leaves
1 1/2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Salt and pepper to taste
Take a reasonably sized bowl and beat the eggs in it.
Stir the baby spinach and parmesan cheese along with it too.
Then season with onion powder, nutmeg, salt and pepper.
In a small skillet that is coated with cooking spray, place it in medium heat and cook the egg mixture for about 3 minutes.
Flip the side with a spatula and continue to cook for about 2 to 3 minutes.
Reduce the heat slowly and continue cooking for about 2 to 3 minutes or to desired softness.
You are ready to serve it along with pepper that can be added for extra flavor. You can relish it with a hot cup of green tea.
