Soak a couple cotton pads/cotton balls in warm water and squeeze out the extra water. Apply your favorite cleansing milk on your face and neck and wipe it off using the hot cotton ball/cotton pads. One of the fanciest thing I feel about the spas is the steam. It helps to open and clean my skin pores and freshens me up. Looking at their fancy steamer I often wonder, how can I get steam at home. It’s easy! Pour boiling hot water in a large bowl, add a few drops of your favorite essential oil. Cover your head with a thick washcloth or towel, facing the blow and let the steam do its job. Clean, clear and beautiful skin in no time! Diwali special recommendation: lavender oil, rose oil, sandalwood oil, jasmine oil.

  1. Scrub

Scrubbing is another great way to exfoliate your skin. What you really have to do is take a good quality organic facial scrub and gently massage your facial skin and on the neck with the scrub. Massage the scrub on your face for a couple minutes and wash it off with cold water. Super smooth skin with no debris and blemish, check. 1. Face Pack

Now come the best part, face pack. Face pack relaxes your facial skin and relieves you, by improving the oxygen flow on the skin surface. It tightens and firms up the facial skin, thus helping to reduce the signs of aging. Squeeze out some of your favorite face pack and apply it on your face and neck, smoothing it out evenly. Let it dry. You can also put cucumber slices or green tea bags on your eyes. Besides relaxing your eyes, it also helps to reduce the dark circles beneath the eyes. Soak a cotton pad in water and squeeze the excess out of it. Gently wipe off the face pack and wash your face with cold water. Diwali special recommendation: chandan kesar haldi, gold face pack, sandal and rose.

  1. Hydrate The Skin

Finally, take a bowl of cold water, add a couple drops of eucalyptus oil to it and soak a towel in it. Squeeze out the excess water and place this towel on your face and relax for a while. This helps to hydrate and lock the moisture in your skin. The eucalyptus oil cools and calms you down. Remove the towel, wipe your face with it and apply a moisturizer to deeply moisturize your skin. Diwali special recommendation:  rose moisturizing cream, gold cream.

This simple home facial will rejuvenate your skin. When you get ready on Diwali eve, everyone will be amazed to see your radiating skin and ask you for your secret, wondering how did you manage to take out time and visit a salon!
