3 Simple Tips To Get Your Teeth Shining Naturally!

You could have it treated professionally, but we champion the effectiveness and organic reassurance here at JoyByNature. Whitening your teeth, which after many years will no doubt show signs of age and use, is a process that is much in demand. As we said, the quick solution is to have it whitened chemically -  unorganically - but there are certainly natural solutions available to this fairly common problem.

Before we begin detailing natural solutions to discoloured teeth and the whitening process, we’ve got to state that a lot of personal habits are responsible for the discolouration of your teeth. First among these habits is smoking, and anything to do with tobacco or its variants. The best efforts to whiten your teeth and maintain them that way will fail unfailingly against the all too powerful effects of tobacco.

The food you consume can also affect your teeth, like your mothers might have told you, so what goes in will show on your teeth. Finally, like your mothers most certainly told you, brush your teeth! Twice a day, once in the morning and once at night, is more than enough to set up a defense against yellowing bacteria. Contrary to popular belief, three brushes a day might just damage your teeth.

And yes, using an Organic Toothpaste matters very much, so pick a good one.

Without further ado, let’s have a look at some great natural home cures for stained teeth!

  1. Coconut Oil Rub

The coconut is a godsend. Blessed with many, many wonderful properties, the oil extract of a coconut, as it surprisingly turns out, is great at getting those teeth sparkling white.

You’ll need a tablespoon of coconut oil for this method. The application is simple, simply rub the oil over your teeth. Coconut oil by itself won’t whiten your teeth, but it prevents bacteria that causes discolouration from growing, thereby acting as a good protective barrier once you’ve got those teeth white through other methods.

Coconut oil is also believed to keep your gums healthy, which only makes it an all the more convincing choice.

  1. Turmeric and Coconut Oil Toothpaste

Coconut oil makes another return to the stage, this time partnered with that other miracle substance, the slightly ironically yellow coloured turmeric. The two together turn your teeth into faultless white.

For this method, you’ll need about half a teaspoon of warm coconut oil - get ready to stock up on it - and an eighth of a teaspoon of turmeric powder. Be very careful about how much turmeric you use, too much isn’t good and makes too thick a paste.

Use this paste in your toothbrush and give it a good rubbing. Let this paste sit for a few minutes. You might find the taste of this a little unpleasant initially, but that’ll disappear soon enough. There are sacrifices to be made in the achievement of white teeth as well.

Rinse thoroughly and spit out what remains. Now, brush again with your regular toothpaste. Make sure you get the whole of your teeth and haven’t left out any yellow spots here and there. It may appear yellow because of the turmeric, but if rinsed, it is removed quickly.

Once this done, you should notice that your teeth are just a little bit whiter. Keep at it and it’ll be somewhat permanent, only requiring the occasional thorough maintenance.

  1. Baking Soda and Lemon Juice

Two ubiquitous household ingredients, baking soda and lemon juice, are effective against yellowed teeth.

Drop a few teaspoons of baking soda into a small bowl. Add enough lemon juice to make a paste that is consistent with your ordinary toothpaste. Put this on your brush and brush away, getting to every nook and cranny of your teeth. Like the method above, leave this paste on for a few minutes and then rinse thoroughly.

A combination of good toothpaste, the techniques prescribed above and an effective Dental Cream is a thorough action plan that will deliver results. Be consistent with your maintenance and you’ll have that sparkling white teeth in no time!
