DAILY USES OF ALOEVERA 

The versatile Aloevera mentioned for its uses in the Bible, is backed by scientific research to support its benefits. Aloevera can be applied externally and taken orally as well in form of juice. It is packed with the goodness of 200 active phytonutrients, 18 aminoacids, 12 vitamins and 99%water. Its benefits extend from root of the hair to the tip of the toe. How does one apply the goodness of this miracle plant in day to day life?

AS A HAIR TONIC:

For hair growth massage 3 tbsp of Aloevera gel into the scalp. Let it sit for 30 minutes. Rinse with plain water. Treat dandruff by mixing 3tbsp Aloevera juice, 2 tbsp coconut milk and 2 drops of wheat germ oil. Massage into scalp and rinse with plain water.

FOR THE FACE:

Apply aloe gel directly on the face for a cooling, moisturized effect. It hydrates and is absorbed immediately. Dip a cotton ball in Aloevera gel and remove makeup without using harsh chemical. For sunburns apply aloe gel two to three times in a day on the affected area. Use 1 tsp of Aloevera gel, mixed with a drop of almond oil as a night cream for wrinkles, pigmentation and as under eye gel.

AS AN EXFOLIATING BODY SCRUB:

Mix one cup of Aloevera gel, two cups of sea salt, one cup of coconut oil and two tbsp of honey. Apply it liberally all over the body. Keep for 10 minutes. Wash off with warm water. Enjoy smooth, healthy and rejuvenated skin. For rough elbows and heels, mix together two tbsp. of Aloevera gel, 1 tsp of lemon juice, 2 tbsp of brown sugar. Apply it all over the body. Leave for five minutes. Scrub it gently as you wash it off with water.

AS A FOOT SCRUB:

Mix together four tbsp. of Aloevera gel, a half cup of oatmeal, a half cup of corn meal and a half cup of unscented body lotion. This can be used for five applications and stored in a jar for 10 days when refrigerated. Apply on the feet and legs. Keep for 15 minutes and wash off.

HAVE IT AS A JUICE:

Blend together 2tablespoons of Aloevera juice, 2 carrots, 1/2 cup orange juice, and 1 apple with and 4 tbsp of water. You have a healthy mocktail. Enjoy anytime of the day.

AS AN INHALER:

Boil leaves of Aloevera in a pan of water. Breathe in the vapor to relieve asthma attacks. 

AS A COOLING AGENT:

Apply Aloevera gel directly to skin in case of eczema, psoriasis and rosecea to heal and treat dry, itchy and puffy skin. Keep for 20 minutes and wash off.

FOR CUTS AND BURNS:

Mix 2 tbsp of aloe gel with 2 drops of Vitamin E oil. Use as a balm on cuts and bruise. Mix larger quantity and keep in glass jar for future uses.

The uses of Aloevera has increased multifold today. It is now readily available as juices, conditioners, shampoos, creams, lotions, soaps, body washes and plain gels, for day to day regimens. Do remember to consult a medical practitioner before consuming Aloevera.
