The healthy cookies also do not make use of white sugar and use sugar substitutes instead. These sugar substitutes may include maple syrup, honey, fruit purees, coconut sugar, date sugar; all of which contribute to the health and well-being of the kids.

As compared to the other types of cookies available, healthy cookies make use of a limited amount of butter. They are usually made with baking oils like olive oil and grape-seed oil which have a lot of health benefits. Healthy cookies also do not contain any trans-fats which are considered unhealthy. Healthy cookies are not loaded with empty calories and this is their biggest advantage. Empty calories are the calories that provide the body with unhealthy calories and stimulate hunger cravings and make kids obese. The health benefits of healthy cookies are a lot and the kids must be made to eat these to ensure their healthy development and growth.
