There are many brands that bring various nutrients in tasty, baby Food form. Mothers must also be careful while choosing the food as it all depends on how old their child is.

Let’s see a few simple yet healthy recipes for your naughty baby.

  1. CHOCOLATE BANANA CUSTARD (Recommended age above 2 years)

Try out this dish, full of calcium and B vitamins.

Ingredients

1 tsp corn flour

1 tsp drinking chocolate (powder or granules)

100ml full-fat cow's milk or formula

1 small banana

Method

Take a bowl and mix the corn flour together with the chocolate and milk. Heat this in the microwave for 1-2 minutes until it thickens. Chop and mash a small banana and serve it along with the custard.

Now take your tiny tot in your arms and let him get a taste of your love.

  1. RAGI Delight

Ragi is said to help gain good weight, grow stronger bones and teeth, and gets rid of that worrying iron deficiency in your baby.

Ingredients

1 cup of Ragi
1 cup Milk
Sugar (Optional)
Finely chopped Mixed fruits (Optional).

Method
Boil the milk and let it cool for some time. When the milk is lukewarm add Ragi and the fruits. Sprinkle a little sugar. And it’s ready!

Your tiny feet will tell you how good it is.

3. Tasty Rice Cereal (for babies 6 to 8 months +) 

Rice cereal is easily digested and is fortified with Iron.

Ingredients

1/4 c. freshly ground brown rice with honey (leave out honey for under 1yr)

Cinnamon Powder

Pure vanilla extract

1 c. Sweetened almond milk– use plain water for infants.

1/4 c. raisins (optional)

Method

Take a pot and put the almond milk/water, ground rice and raisins. Boil the mixture until the rice flour absorbs the liquid. Now cover the pot, turn the heat low and let the mixture simmer for 20-30 minutes. You may add sliced/mashed up bananas, strawberries or peaches. Your little baby will absolutely love this one!
