In an interview with Vogue Paris, celebrity Blake Lively revealed that she’s a chocolate lover, eats all the chocolate she wants, and doesn't feel the need to hire a personal trainer to stay in shape.

Doesn’t this pretty much state the fact – chocolates are not harmful. You consume one, cannot resist till you bite the second and vice versa. It imparts numerous health benefits.

Reduces the risk of diabetes: An important study from the University of L'Aquila, in Italy, found that regular eating of chocolates increases insulin sensitivity this gradually reduces the risk of diabetes.

  • Controls Cough: Thinking of the smooth way to prevent cough is apparently consuming chocolates. One of the finest chemical components – the obromine helps in reduction of activity of vagus nerve which is the part of brain that targets coughing. The chocolate has this in great amount and it gradually works.

  •  Makes brain strong:   Researchers at Johns Hopkins University found that dark chocolate covers the cells in brain and shields it from the damage caused by the stroke. The amount of Epicatechin in the chocolate prevents it from the stroke. Scientists at California's Salk Institute also discovered this.
