In today’s fast-paced life one is hardly left with any time for oneself. And juggling between playing different roles at the professional and personal space we forget to keep care of your skin. Your skin is the most sensitive and exposed part of your body. During the day your skin is exposed to a lot of harmful chemicals and pollutants like dust, dirt, smoke etc. This is where the home-made night creams come to your rescue. Home-made night creams are a really effective way to get a beautiful toxin free glowing skin. The night is the best time to revitalize our skin and to bring back its lost sheen. So here are some of the recipes for your perfect night cream.
Sandalwood night cream
Soak almonds overnight. Peel and grind them next morning to a thick paste. Add turmeric, curd, lemon juice and sandalwood powder and saffron to it. Mix well and store in a refrigerator. It will last for a week. Just apply this every night.
Aloe Vera night cream
Take Aloe Vera and peel off the greenish cover. Collect the fleshy gel like inner part of Aloe Vera in a bowl and add curd to it. Mix the contents well to get a paste of thick texture. Apply this paste on the face and leave it for 10 minutes. Then wash the face with normal water. Aloe Vera helps in reducing acnes and helps lighten blemishes.
Milk night cream
Blend all the above the above ingredients to form a smooth paste. It is good for cleaning and refreshing the skin. Apart from a night cream it also acts as a good moisturizer.
Apple night cream
Cut an apple into two halves. Remove the seeds. Chop the apple into small pieces. Toss the pieces in a blender and add one-half cup of olive oil. Turn on the blender for about five to seven minutes until the mixture has a smooth and thick consistency. Pour the mixture into double boiler and allow it to cool. Then, mix in one-half cup of rose water. Finally store it in a sterile container.
Green tea night cream
Mix two spoons full of pure beeswax with a few drops of almond oil, coconut oil and two spoons of rose hip seed oil. Put them in a double boiler and let them all melt. In the meantime, make green tea solution by opening and brewing an entire teabag of green tea in a glass of water. Add this solution to double boiler, mix well and strain the entire mixture through a sieve. Now whip this mixture with a hand blender until you get a fluffy consistent cream. Store it in a jar and apply every night after washing and patting your face dry.
Milk cream and lemon extract night cream
Whip out one cup of milk cream in a blender. Add to it 5-6 drops of lemon juice extract and apply on the face at night. Keep it for 10 minutes and then wash the face with normal water.
