Results from a recently conducted study shows that the initial things that a baby is exposed to will result in a lot of changes in the attitude and the behavior of the baby during later years.

Now here is a small list of changes that can be done in the baby’s room before bringing the baby home from the hospital.

Wall color-

Baby nursery walls need to look unique and exclusive in every baby room. Besides, one can paint these walls and apply vinyl stickers, wall murals and stickers on them. These elegant and attractive decals serve a lot of purpose.

Baby’s room wall decals are used not only to decorate the nursery walls but to create an ambiance that would be appreciated by your little ones.

Here are a few colors that can be used-

Orange – Warm, Comforting, Cozy

Orange is a very comfortable color. It promotes a welcoming feeling and inspires interpersonal conversation. Orange is friendly and puts reservations at ease. Use a darker orange for a super-cozy atmosphere or bright orange for a punch of modern.

Yellow – Lively, Energetic, Cheerful

Yellow is sunny and bright but use with caution. Too much or too bright yellow can agitate a baby. Subtle yellow (think legal pads) promotes concentration and emotive thoughts.

Green – Calming, Refreshing, and Nurturing –

Green is the best color to use in a learning environment. It promotes calmness of thinking and concentration. It is also very serene, calming and natural. Green is one of the best colors in decorating because it is so abundant in nature.

Blue – Healing, Subtle –

Blue is calming, but be careful with the shade. Gray-blues can lean towards sadness. Blue increases productivity, but should not be used around food. If a child refuses to eat, avoid using blue color plates. In the nursery, use warm or bright blues and avoid overusing navy or dark shades. Blue is also cooling, which is good for a baby who gets warm easily.

Gray – Introspective, Intuitive, Emotional

Gray inspires one to contemplate—the same way one may feel on a cloudy day. Be careful with gray. Its advantages are that it promotes thought and emotion, but that may also include sadness and loneliness. Many famous poets and writers have been known to retreat to overcast locations to write, like Seattle. If the baby’s nursery is going to be painted gray then it is better to use a warm tone and mix in some brighter colors.

The next step will be to add in the cherry to the cake; to fill the baby’s room with toys and stuff dolls along with kid’s cushions.

Cushions

Kids insist on playing and enjoying themselves with cushions every time. Instead, make sure that decorative pillows are not used as these might lead to some infections or rashes related to the skin and we might find some torn pieces of the designer cushion. Also we may end up finding stains and spills on kids’ cushions.

It is essential to wash the fabric regularly so that it doesn’t bear the wear and tear. Get colorful and stunning ones and spread these around. Make sure the fabric is scratch-free enabling your kids to enjoy themselves.

Art gallery-

It is always better to get the walls of the baby’s room filled with art like a funny dinosaur or a giraffe or may be a beautiful castle designed as part of the baby’s nursery wall art. One may also prefer to have toy planes, automobiles and trains creatively painted on the walls.

One of the most exciting and filled-with-happiness experience is decorating your soon-to-arrive baby’s room. If we already know whether it is a boy or a girl, the entire scenario will change; but with all these decorations it is also important to make sure that you don’t overdo anything. So keeping it simple is always the best thing to do.
