Chaitanya Agro Herbals (CAH) was incorporated in the year 1999 with an objective of growing medicinal, aromatic plants and supplying herbage to Ayurvedic medicine manufacturers, herbal extractors and distillers of aromatic plants. To achieve this, CAH formed a panel of distinguished agronomist, botanists and tissue culture laboratories to seek their expertise in their respective fields. By 2002, CAH successfully grew medicinal plants such as Ashwaganda (Withania Somnifera), Safed Musli ( Chlorophytum Borivilianum), Coleus Forskohlii (Plectranthus Barbatus), Amla (Emblica Officinalis) and Vanilla (Vanilla Planifolia) on contract farming and the same was supplied to various companies like Sadvaidyashala, Nanjangud; Natural Remedies, Bangalore; Siris Impex, Vijayawada; etc. to name a few.Following the irrefutable need for medicinal and aromatic plants, in 2006 the company started growing aromatic plants such as Patchouli, Lemon Grass, Tea Tree, Citronella and Palma Rosa in various parts of Karnataka such as Shimoga, Koppa, Mysore, H.D. Kote, Hiriyur, Davangere and Mercara. Here the company wishes to acknowledge the support and help rendered by Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, Bangalore; Gandhi Krishi Vigyana Kendra, (GKVK) Bangalore; and Horticulture Institute, Coimbatore.

The company launched essential oils under the brand name Truly Essential. All the oils are subjected to a Gas Liquid Chromatography (GLC) test to ensure purity and quality of oils. These essential oils are filled in attractive 15ml amber colour imported bottles with pilfer proof caps, dropper plugs and sealed with sleeves to prevent damages and leakages.We believe in the motto Soil to Oil and are truly living by it.
