Indian Herbs, established in 1951, is the leading and pioneer company engaged in research and manufacturing of herbal products for promoting human and animal health. Inspired by the virtues of the Indian System of Medicine “AYURVEDA”; Indian Herbs searched, researched and developed many unique herbal products on modern scientific lines using the latest technologies, which are being marketed in India and overseas.
Research & Development (R&D) has played a crucial role in development of Indian Herbs. Continuous high level research helped in developing an array of unique herbal products.We have a dedicated and dynamic team of scientists which includes pharmacists, chemists, botanists, microbiologists, pharmacologists, clinicians etc. The level of sophistication and capabilities of our R&D Centre attained greater heights with the installation of most modern and sophisticated instruments such as CAMAG’s HPTLC, WATER’s HPLC with PDAD, SHIMADZU’s HPLC with IR detector, AGILENT’s HPLC with PDA, GC-MS/MS, SHIMADZU’s UV-Visible Spectrophotometer , PERKIN ELMER’s Atomic Absorption Spectrometer (AAS) etc. In realization of the achievements of our R&D Centre, the Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India has granted to it the recognition and formal certification - the first of its kind in India.

For delivering a product with desired level of efficacy, it is essential that all the herbal ingredients meet the strict quality control standard, set for each particular ingredient. Only best herbal materials are selected from chosen locations which are at right altitudes with proper soil and environmental conditions, harvest at the optimum time and ensure the correct postharvest treatment and storage. Every herbal ingredient is authenticated by experts, involving macroscopic, microscopic examination followed by chemical and chromatographic analysis of each plant material. Strict quality control measures are followed at every stage of production to ensure delivery of quality products.
