Bulimia nervosa is a very serious eating disorder characterized by people binge eating, followed by purging in form of vomiting. However, many people who suffer from bulimia use laxatives, diuretics, or stimulants to have the same effect, in addition to excessive exercise in an attempt to retain the desired weight.
