Acidity is the body’s reaction wherein, accumulation of acid leads to burning sensation in the stomach & digestive tract. The stomach produces acid at regular intervals to aid digestion. Mint – Prepare fresh mint juice or boil fresh mint leaves in one cup of water to be taken after meals as a remedy for acidity.
Ajwain (Carom seeds) – Eating few seeds of ajwain after meals will help in reducing acid reflux.
Saunf ( Fennel seeds) – It is a popular custom in India to offer saunf to guests as after meals digestive. Saunf can be boiled & steeped in water, this water is to be strained and given to babies to relieve colic pain.
