Shaving is a tedious task for men. They definitely do not enjoy doing it. However, they have to as it makes them look neat and tidy. The entire process of shaving involves a lot of concentration and men often get cuts too. That is why they apply aftershave lotions, which make them feel fresh and serve as antiseptic as well. However, some skins are sensitive to aftershave lotions. So, it is best to use natural ones. We bring to you a few recipes through which you can prepare your own natural aftershave lotion. Take a look.
For this you need one glass of water and two spoons of chamomile flower essence. Boil some water in a pot. Add the chamomile essence to it. Stir well and then let it cool down. Strain the liquid using a coffee filter and then refrigerate it. Take some liquid in a cotton ball and then, dab it on the irritated skin. Let it stay for about 10 minutes and then wash off.
For this, you need two cups of witch hazel extract, four tablespoons of aloe vera and rose water each, one tablespoon of glycerine and a few drops of any essential oil. However, the choice of essential oil is optional. Take a bowl and add all the above mentioned ingredients into it. Stir well and then, store in a jar. Apply it on your skin after shaving. It will heal all the inflammation and irritation.
This aftershave lotion is not only effective on irritated skin but also smells good. To make this concoction, you need two cups of rubbing alcohol, one tablespoon of glycerine, dried lavender, dried rosemary and dried cloves each.
Add all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Store it in a jar and then, keep it in the refrigerator for about four days. After four days, take it out and then strain to separate all the herbs. Put all ingredients in a bowl and stir gently. The aftershave lotion is now ready for use. You can store it for about two months.
This aftershave lotion is surely a refreshing and reenergizing one. To make it, all you need is half cup of aloe vera gel, half a spoon of distilled water, one tablespoon of witch hazel and about 10 drops of essential oils of your choice. Mix all the ingredients in a jar and then refrigerate it. Use it whenever you need and the, put the rest of the liquid back in the refrigerator.

To make this, you need about four tablespoons of mineral water, eight spoons witch hazel, one spoon of glycerine, and about five drops of cinnamon, pimento berry and sandalwood essential oils.
All essential oils mentioned in this recipe are simply for fragrance. You can choose the oils as per your liking as well. To prepare this aftershave lotion, mix all ingredients in a glass jar. Whenever you plan to use it, just shake well. Just take a cotton ball and dip it into this liquid. After the shaving session, just dab it on to your face.

This is a superb aftershave, which promises a beautiful fragrance for sure. For this, you need half cup of distilled Water and rubbing alcohol each, one spoon of extra virgin olive oil, four spoons of witch hazel, about half a cup of dried herbs, such as rosemary, cinnamon, lavender and clove, zest of orange and lemon and about three drops of benzoin oil.
Take all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Later, transfer them in a glass jar and refrigerate it for about three days. Shake it at least three-four times a day. After three days, strain the liquid and it is ready for use.
