What is green tea?

Green tea is obtained from Camellia Sinensis, the same plant where we get normal tea. The normal black tea is gained by fermenting the tea leaves. Its colour and flavour gets changed through fermentation for increasing the quantity of caffeine and tannin in it. Unlike black tea, green tea’s leaves are dried or slightly steamed but not fermented. This is why it looks green in colour
