Immune system of the body is the one that protects the body against several diseases and infections. The immune system is the body’s defense mechanism against outside invaders and infectious organisms.     3. Pumpkin Seeds: Zinc is an important mineral essential for the proper functioning of the immune system. Deficiency of zinc leads to impaired functioning if the cells of the immune system.
