Pumpkin face scrub

Pumpkin Seeds can be used to make easy-to-use face scrubs. Take a cup of pumpkin seeds and one cup of cut pumpkin and boil in water to cook well. Strain the water and blend well in a grinder. Pumpkin seeds are rich in antioxidants that help lighten aging marks on the skin. To the pumpkin squash, add about two tablespoons of raw Honey and one tablespoon of cinnamon powder. Honey is a natural moisturizer. The cinnamon acts as an excellent exfoliant and clears dead cells from your skin.

You can apply this mixture to your skin and allow it to dry for about ten to fifteen minutes. This allows for sufficient time for your skin to absorb the useful hydroxy acids and antioxidants. You can then scrub well and wash with water. You can use this scrub throughout your body and even use it every day.

Pumpkin seed moisturizer

Grind a cup of raw Pumpkin Seeds and add a tablespoon of butter to it. To this, add one whisked egg and stir well. Apply this mixture as a face pack and allow it to stay for fifteen minutes until it dries. You can then rinse it off with water.

This is a good deep conditioner and moisturizer for your skin. Especially, if you have dry skin, this moisturizer is a ‘must do’ for you.

Pumpkin cleanser

Grind one cup of pumpkin seeds to make fine powder. To this, add half a cup of raw honey and one teaspoon of nutmeg and stir well. Add two drops of Tea Tree Oil and mix thoroughly to make your cleanser.

The Pumpkin Seeds are rich in vitamin E and will bring in a glow. Pumpkin seeds also constrict the pores in your skin, control oil secretion and prevent acne, blackheads, blemishes and pimples from appearing. While the honey moisturizes your skin, nutmeg helps fight acne. Nutmeg has anti-inflammatory properties due to which it helps control previous inflammation due to acne and prevents new pimples. The tea tree oil helps protect oily skin by opening the pores and keeps it oil free after cleansing.

Pumpkin toner

Pumpkin can be used effectively as a skin toner especially during colder parts of the year. In order to make a skin toner, add half a tablespoon of Honey with half a tablespoon of ground Pumpkin Seeds and apply evenly on your skin. Rinse with warm water once dry. This helps make your skin even toned and also protects your skin from rashes and acne problems since pumpkin seeds contain anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-viral properties too.

Anti-aging face pack

Pumpkin seeds are rich in Vitamin E and this is the main reason for their being included in many anti-aging products. You can make your very own anti-aging and anti-wrinkle face mask at home. For this, take a cup of Pumpkin Seeds and boil it well in water to cook well. Once cooked, mash or grind the pumpkin seeds. To this, add half a cup of butter milk and two spoons of Almond Oil and Olive Oil. Apply this mixture to your skin and allow it to stay for fifteen minutes before rinsing with cold water. This face pack helps lighten wrinkles and also fades out scars.
