Crow’s feet, generally referred to as laugh lines, are a group of wrinkles and fine lines that appear at the outer corners of the eyes. They develop with growing age

Crow’s feet develop with age, usually post 30s. It is so because the production of collagen and elastin, two types of proteins needed for maintaining skin’s elasticity, reduces with age. Further, the reduced production leads to other ageing signs like sagging breasts, wrinkles and brown spots.

There are several other reasons that lead to crow’s feet; some of them being exposure to sun exposure, smoking, pollution, squinting, frowning and smiling.

Well, this ageing side effect can definitely be treated if taken proper care of. All you need to do is follow a few home remedies. We have listed down a few of them for you so that you stay young and radiant forever.

  1. Papaya

The presence of vitamin C in papaya helps in fighting free-radical damage, which is responsible for hindering the production of an anti-ageing chemical called collagen. Moreover, papaya consists of papain enzyme that ensures complete removal of dead skin cells and tightening of skin.

Just rub a piece of raw papaya on your skin gently. Allow it to stay for around 1O minutes and then, rinse off with cold water. Do it at least once in a day.

Try another remedy by mixing some pulp of ripe papaya and dry oatmeal. Apply this paste on your skin and then massage softly. After 10 minutes, wash off with cold water. Repeat it thrice in a week.

You can also prepare another concoction by mixing papaya pulp and one tablespoon of olive oil. Apply this mask and then let it dry up. Later, wash off with tap water. Do it for about three times in a week.

  1. Milk

Milk is also a great solution for fading away of wrinkles around the eyes. This is due to the presence of glycolic acid, which is responsible for exfoliating dead skin cells and boosting collagen production.

Consuming milk orally helps in getting a healthy and glowing skin. Apart from this, dip a clean cloth in some milk and the, place it on your skin. After 10 minutes, wash your face with cold water. Do it two times in a day.

Try out another remedy, which incorporates both milk and almond oil. Just add a few drops of almond oil to a cup of milk. Now soak two bread slices in this solution. Now place these slices on a piece of cloth and then place it on your eyes. Let your skin absorb its goodness for about 10 minutes. Do it daily for best results.

  1. Aloe Vera

Aloe vera is a universal anti-ageing solution and therefore, can prevent the appearance of crow’s feet as well. The antioxidants present in it fight against free radicals, which cause early occurrence of ageing signs. Besides, aloe vera consists of vitamins and minerals that provide moisturization and brighter skin tone the skin.

All you have to do is drink a spoon of aloe vera juice two times in a day. Alternately, scoop out fresh gel from an aloe leaf and then massage the skin around your eyes with it. Do it before hitting the bed. The next morning, rinse your face with tap water. Do it regularly for best results. This will leave your skin firmer and hydrated.

  1. Coconut Oil

Coconut oil acts as a natural moisturizer. The presence of vitamin E helps in providing complete nourishment for the skin. Coconut oil also contains linoleic acid, which reconnects broken tissues and delays the appearance of crow’s feet and other ageing signs.

All you need to do is apply a few drops of extra virgin coconut oil on the skin, particularly around the eyes. Do it every night before going to bed.

Moreover, coconut oil helps in lightening the complexion of the skin as well.
