All you need to do is cut open the tea bag and empty its contents in a bowl. Now add a spoon of honey and olive oil in it to form a thick paste. Apply this concoction on your skin and the let it dry. Once it is semi dry, massage your skin in circular motion for a few minutes. Afterwards, rinse off well with lukewarm water. Repeat this procedure at least twice a week. You can use green tea bags to cure your acne woes. Moreover, green tea is particularly a great remedy for acne breakouts. The presence of catechins in green tea helps in combating acne-causing bacteria. This is so because they possess anti-bacterial properties. As per a 2009 study published in the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology, green tea is an effective remedy for curing acne. Another study published in the Journal of Investigative Dermatology states that epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG) present in green tea help in destroying the acne-causing bacteria.

All you need to do is place used green tea bags on the acne-prone skin for about 15 minutes. Later was off with cold water. Repeat this procedure two times in a day.

Both peppermint and green tea are helpful in eliminating bad breath and thus, giving you a fresh smelling mouth. As per a 2014 study, a green tea based mouth rinse helped in easing pain related to acute pericoronitis.

Just dip two to three tea bags in hot water for 10 minutes. Now remove the tea bags and let the water cool down a bit. Add two drops of tea tree oil in it and use this liquid as a mouth wash. Do it for about two times in a day.

You can use all sorts of used tea bags to soothe puffy eyes but green tea bags have the best effect. Owing to the presence of antioxidants, they help in easing stress and getting rid of fatigue. Antioxidants work on dark areas and thus make them look brighter. They also reduce swelling and puffiness around the eyes.

Just freeze the two used green tea bags in the refrigerator for half an hour. Meanwhile apply some olive oil on your eyes lid and under the eyes. Massage well so that the skin completely absorbs the oil. Now place the tea bags on your eyes till they come down to room temperature. Later wash your face with normal water. Make this a daily ritual after coming back from office.
