  1. Lemon Juice

Lemon juice is a natural bleaching agent and therefore, reduces dark spots and pigmentation. Also, the citric acid present in it content exfoliates the skin, lessens oil secretion and destroys acne-causing bacteria. All these skin problems lead to blemishes. Moreover, lemon juice unclogs blocked pores and provides nourishment.

All you need to do is apply fresh lemon juice on the skin and then allow it to stay. After 15 minutes, rinse off well with normal water. Do it regularly for at least a month for best results.

Also, try another method by combining a few drops of lemon juice and a spoon of honey together. Apply it on your blemishes and then let it dry. Wash off after 15 minutes. Repeat the procedure at least three times in a week.

Prepare another concoction by mixing equal portions of lemon and tomato juice. If you need to make it a scrub, just add some oatmeal to it. Mix well and then, apply it on your skin. Then, scrub your skin gently in circular motion. Rinse off well after 15 minutes. A regular application will surely heal your blemished skin.

  1. Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is a rich source of alpha hydroxy acids, which help in lightening patchy areas of skin and blemishes. These acids also maintain the pH balance of the skin, reduce excess oil secretion and unclog blocked pores. Apple cider vinegar’s anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties keep acne-causing bacteria at bay.

All you need to do is mix one portion of apple cider vinegar in three parts of water. Then dip a cotton ball in this solution and apply it on your blemishes. Let it stay for about 15 minutes and then, wash off well. Apply it three times in a day for quick results.

  1. Tomato Juice

Owing to the presence of vitamin C and antioxidants, tomato juice is great for treating blemish-free skin. Tomato helps in shrinking large pores and cure acne breakouts. It happens because of the astringent properties present in it. Tomato also consists of lycopene, which treats sun tan. Just massage your skin with a slice of tomato or apply tomato pulp on your face. You can also apply aloe vera gel to treat blemishes. Scoop out aloe vera gel from an aloe vera leaf and then, apply it on your skin. Let it stay till it dries up completely. Then rinse off with warm water. Do it regularly for 30 days.
