Be it through pregnancy or exercising, stretch marks look really awful. It is those lines which appear on the skin surface having a whitish tinge. Because of their colour, they are prominently visible and therefore, make the skin look ugly. They appear in areas like thighs, stomach, upper arms, breasts and buttocks.

There are several reasons behind their occurrence, the most common being pregnancy. Others reasons include rapid fluctuation in weight, heredity, rapid growth and changes in physical conditions.

  1. Alfalfa Leaves

Since Alfalfa leaves are a powerhouse of amino acids, protein and vitamin E and K, they not only keep the skin healthy but also nourish it inside out.

This nourishment results in fading out of stretch marks. For this, mix a few drops of chamomile oil with      alfalfa leaves to form a smooth concoction. Apply this on the affected area at least two to three times a day. Do it for a few weeks for great results. 

  1. Cocoa Butter 

As cocoa butter is a great moisturizing agent, it is quite effective in treating stretch marks. It ensures complete nourishment to the skin, thus helping in lightening of such marks.

  1. Castor Oil

Castor oil is a popular ingredient used for treating various skin woes, such as dark spots, moles, wrinkles, fine lines, acne, moles, dark spots, fine lines, pimples and even stretch marks.

For this, dab some castor oil on your marks and then, slowly massage the area for at least 10 minutes. Then, cover the area with a cotton cloth and then provide some heat with a hot water bag. Do this on a regular basis for at least a month. You will definitely find the difference.

  1. Aloe Vera

Aloe vera is a super product used in various beauty treatments. Owing to its healing properties, it can easily take care of those ugly-looking stretch marks. It can be used in several ways. You can rub it on your skin directly and then leave it for 15 minutes. Later, wash off with warm water. Another way is to make a concoction. For this, take two tablespoons of aloe vera gel and mix it with oil taken out from five vitamin A and 10 vitamin E capsules. Apply the mixture on the affected area and then massage it well. Do it on a regular basis for best results.

  1. Egg Whites

Egg whites are a powerhouse of protein and amino acids. They both act on stretch marks, thus making them fade away gradually. All you need to do is whip two egg whites and spread a thick layer of this paste on your marks. Let it dry and then wash off with cold water. To finish it, just dab some olive oil to keep the skin moisturized. Repeat it regularly for about 15 days for best results. 

  1. Apricots 

Apricot is used in several beauty products. It is an excellent exfoliator as well. Moreover, it is quite effective in treating stretch marks. For it, just take three apricots and grind them to form a paste. Do not forget to de-seed them before grinding. Apply the paste directly on the stretch marks and leave it until it dries up. Wash off with warm water. Follow the routine for about a month.

  1. Lemon Juice

Since lemon is acidic in nature, it works well on acne and lightens scars. Therefore, it can be really effective on stretch marks. Just rub a lemon half on your marks so that the juice is absorbed completely. Leave it for some time and then rinse off with lukewarm water. Besides, you can prepare another concoction by mixing equal proportions of cucumber and lemon juice. Apply this liquid on your marks. Once it dries, rise off with lukewarm water.
