Types Of Cleansers

Wash it off with water and then pat your skin dry. Face washes consist of chemical surfactants which are primarily foaming and cleaning agents. When mixed with water, it lathers up on the skin and provides a cleaning action that is more gentle and nourishing than soap.

How To Choose A Facial Cleanser

Cleansing products are available in a variety of types. But it is important for you to find the one that works for you. Everybody has different skin, and what works on one may not do for the other. Instead look for cleanser with citric agents like lemon or orange peel which can balance the oil levels. Also opt for gel based or more watery cleansers which are light and won’t weigh down the skin.

 

  1. For Sensitive Skin

Sensitive skin is prone to a lot of damage caused by harsh products and chemicals. So it is important to soothe it using mild and gentle cleansers. Look for one with glycerine which will hydrate and heal the skin.
