  1. Vitamin E Oil

Nails become brittle due to lack of moisture in them. Vitamin E oil can help in providing that hydration and nourishment. This way it strengthens your nails and cuticles.Take a vitamin E capsule and open it to extract its oil. Apply this oil from the capsule on your brittle and weak nails. Massage well till the oil gets absorbed completely. Massaging helps in boosting blood circulation to the nail bed. Repeat this process daily for about two weeks for promising results. You can also consume vitamin E capsules for added benefits.

  1. Lemon Juice

Lemon juice is also help in providing strength to brittle nails. Owing to its bleaching property, lemon juice further helps in making your nails bright and white.Mix together one tablespoon of lemon juice and three tablespoons of olive oil. Heat this concoction in the microwave for a few seconds to make it lukewarm. Dip a cotton ball in this solution and then, dab some of it on to your nails. Do this before sleeping. Cover your hands with gloves.Alternately, take equal quantities of lemon juice and argan oil in a bowl. Soak your nails in this mixture for 20 minutes. Do it daily for about a fortnight.

Apple cider vinegar works well for brittle nails as it is packed with nutrients, such as vitamins, potassium, magnesium, calcium, and iron. It also contains malic and acetic acids, which can combat nail infections.All you need is equal quantities of raw apple cider vinegar and water. Mix them in a small bowl. Soak your brittle nails in this concoction for at least 10 minutes. As soon as you take your nails out from this solution, push pack your cuticles. Repeat it once in a day for getting strong nails.

  1. Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil is another great remedy for strengthening brittle nails. It works well in case of fungal infections. Owing to its antiseptic, it helps in fighting infections and treating discolored nails.Add a few drops of tea tree oil in a spoon of vitamin E oil. Apply this solution on your nails and massage well. After half an hour, wash your nails with lukewarm water. Finish with a good moisturizing cream. Make it a daily ritual for at least a month.
