Ever wondered of straightening your hairs, that too naturally?People who are not blessed with naturally straight hair often take the shelter of chemical treatments to get rid of unruly waves and curls. Many professionals offer hair-straightening services with immediate results. The finished look lasts for a limited time, perhaps for a year. But after that, your hair will start showing the side effects of the harsh chemicals and heated tools used during the treatment. This can include dry hair, allergy on the scalp and hair loss. If you wish to have straight hair without damaging your lustrous locks, it is always recommended to try some home remedies. There are some ingredients in your kitchen that can help straighten your hair naturally. These home remedies should be done no more than two or three times a week. Daily use would not be healthy for your scalp and hair. The following the natural ways by which you can have straight hairs:

  • Use overnight hair hands

Divide damp hair into one or two low ponytails. Fasten with soft hair elastic, then add additional elastics every inch or so down the ponytail, in order to hold it together. Make sure the elastics are fairly loose so that they won’t leave a noticeable mark on your hair. Go to sleep and let it out in the morning.

  • Milk
Pour 1/3 cup of milk into a spray bottle. 20 or 30 minutes before you’re ready to shower, spray the milk all over your hair. Use a wide tooth comb to let the milk penetrate your hair and the follicles. When time’s up, shower and shampoo as usual. This treatment will keep your hair straight until your next shampoo. In case you have dry hair, add a small amount of honey to the milk.
  • Egg & Olive Oil

Whip 2 eggs and add some olive oil to the mix, massage this into your hair and scalp, and leave it on for 1 hour. After shampooing, your hair will feel softer and be straighter.

  • Banana
Mash 2 overripe bananas. Add 2 tablespoons each of olive oil, plain natural yogurt and honey to the bananas, and blend the ingredients into a fine paste. Cover your hair with this paste and then top it with a shower cap or plastic wrap. Leave it in for 30 minutes, and then shampoo as usual.
  • Aloe Vera

Aloe vera is a wonderful, natural conditioner for hair. Take a 1/2 cup of aloe gel and mix it with a 1/2 cup of warm oil. Olive oil works great but you can substitute whatever oil you prefer. Slather this mixture on your hair and wait 30-45 minutes. Wash out and enjoy your shiny, soft, straight hair.

  • Coconut Oil & Lime Juice

With a fresh coconut, remove and grind the coconut meat. Then add some lime juice, blend it into a creamy consistency and refrigerate it overnight. In the morning you’ll find it turn into cream. Massage the cream into your hair and scalp, and then cover your head with a hot towel for 1 hour. Wash and rinse as usual. Repeated treatments will result in sleek, straight hair.

  • Soybean & Castor Oil

Mix together 2 tablespoons of castor oil with 1 tablespoon soybean oil. Heat the mixture until warm, and then cool it. Massage the oil mixture thoroughly through your hair from the roots to the tips. Leave on for half an hour before washing it out. Cover your head with a warm towel and let your hair dry naturally.

  • Conditioner & Almond Oil

Choose your favorite conditioner and add 3-4 drops of sweet almond oil to each portion you use. After shampoo, apply this mixture as you with the conditioner. Do this 3 times a week and your hair will be shiny, healthy, and get straighter with each use.
