Prevention is better than cure. This is something we all know but tend not to follow. Think of a scenario where your small prevention habits can go a long way and you will thank yourself later. Being proactive against hair loss is one of the few steps you can take to make sure your hair stays where it belongs- on your head.

In a world of stress and unhealthy eating habits, hair loss is a sign that your body is telling you to put your foot down and take control.  Well, it is possible and it doesn’t seem as bad as it sounds. As kids our parents and grandparents would have taken extra care of our hair. However, we now have other priorities and hair care has taken a back stage. What if I could give you a list of small tips to prevent hair loss that has proven the test of time and you will not have to worry about any side-effects? Sounds good?

Here are some pointers:

  1. Watch what you eat: Simple? I can hear you say “No, it’s not”. Well, I understand. By eating healthy I do not refer to a classic plate of fruits and vegetables. Carry on with your food habits, but cut down one meal of junk. This can impact your hair. Just have one fruit bowl a day and gradually increase it as and when you are ready. Now this seems plausible? I can hear you say “Maybe”. Well, that is enough for now.
  2. Exterior: It is not just what you eat but also what you apply on your hair that can helps you to prevent hair loss. It sounds time-consuming to analyze the thousands of products out there and decide on what you should use. First of all, anything natural cannot give you any side-effects. So finding these natural products for your hair can be only thing you need to think about.

  1. Stress: Cut down on the stress. Yes, stress can affect your hair in multiple ways than you can imagine. Take short breaks from work and make sure those breaks are worth it. Go for a family vacation and during those trips don’t forget to take along your hair oils so that you are taking extra care of your hair during your vacations.

  1. Using the right Shampoo and Conditioner: There are many shampoos and conditioners available online. Choosing the right one has nothing to do with the brand name, but yes quality is what matters. What best to choose than from nature? Using natural shampoo and natural conditioners will nourish your scalp and provide you with the necessary protection from the roots. This is what I mean by quality.

So by keeping in mind a list like this, you are taking a proactive stand against hair loss  subconsciously.
